Winterhalter GS200 Series undercounter glasswashers
What are the energy saving features of the equipment?
1 WIHTec flat panel heating element
2 Smaller wash tank (reduces water use/energy needed to heat water)
3 Mediamat system
How does it save energy?
Winterhalter’s innovative WIHTec (Winterhalter Indirect Heating Technology) is a flat-panel heating element. The tank itself has a seamless construction and the lack of a protruding element means there are no awkward surfaces to encourage limescale and dirt accumulation – the most common cause of a loss of efficiency in conventional ‘kettle style’ heating elements. Flat panel elements deliver better heating, as well as lower energy consumption.
Winterhalter's innovative design for the GS200 allowed the company to considerably reduce the size of the wash tank. Each wash cycle now uses one-third less water than traditional glasswashers, saving on time, energy to heat the wash water, and water consumption.
Mediamat is a filtration system that is so effective that washwater lasts throughout the session, so less energy is required to heat water. It also saves on water and chemicals.
What is the saving compared to?
Traditional glasswashers
